Wolicki reports to Doug Traxler, executive vice president of sales and marketing at WebbMason.

“Carol brings a rich mix of skills and experience to her new role with WebbMason,” said Traxler. “She has held leadership roles with innovative software companies that made marketing more automated, scientific and measurable. At the same time, Carol conceived and implemented many creative marketing and public relations programs in corporate and agency positions. “WebbMason is in a unique position. Known within procurement and operations circles for its traditional printing and promotional products business, the company offers marketing software and services that can really enhance marketing productivity,” said Wolicki. “Increasing market share of WebbMason’s flagship product, MarketingBench™, an on-demand marketing management system that is used by hundreds of top enterprises across the US, will be a primary objective in the months ahead.”

At Unica, Wolicki managed a team responsible for PR and marketing communications activities across the company’s marketing automation, marketing operations, and web analytics software divisions. Wolicki has held international marketing management positions with ECI Telecom and Banyan Systems, where she opened European markets for the company. She also ran her own marketing and user group management company, Chrysalis Communications Inc., for more than a decade, and held executive positions with several Massachusetts-based high technology marketing agencies.

The beauty of these blogging engines and CMS platforms is the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that allows developers to implement rich content and ‘skin’ the site in such a way that with very little effort one would never notice what it is making the site tick all without limiting content and effectiveness.
